João has been a consultant at BMDV since 2024, having started his professional activity in 2009.

Since completing a post-graduate course in Taxation at the Catholic University in 2014, his professional practice has focused particularly on tax law, working in the field of national and international taxation, both in litigation and dispute resolution, as well as advising private clients and companies.

He is a regular presence in tax and arbitration courts, assisting clients in disputes relating to taxes on income, consumption and property, as well as extraordinary contributions regarding various sectors of activity in Portugal. João has also accompanied a number of corporate entities during the tax inspections to which they have been subjected as part of their commercial or industrial activity.

Throughout his professional career, he has been called upon to deal with complex issues of great relevance, applying his specialised knowledge to offer effective legal solutions geared to the interests of his clients.
